Week 3 - Feedback

26.2.2013

Work for the next week

After some feedback with Duncan, looking at the work we have already completed, our task for the next week is to move away from the discovery stage and concentrate now on really defining some concepts and creating sketches.

As Duncan said, the client doesn't want to see too much of the problem, they want to see solutions to the problems in the form of initial sketches, or cunning photography, modelling and possibly CAD if you wish. At the moment we have a lot of problems and research that should at this point have given us an idea of what we want to look at, so it's our task now to 'define' this into workable solutions, as some of us already have.

We must continue to work as a team and help each other with our proposals, as that is what its all about! Therefore, I would like everyone to propose their ideas briefly in order for everyone else to provide their own comments, ideas, suggestion, etc, in a constructive manner of course.
We can do this online using the blog, as half the group were ill and unable to attend Uni today. My condolences. The reason for this is because there is a lot of research that we've done (well done everyone) and instead of having to read all of it individually, we can reference back to the work we've done (which we should remember) and comment on each others proposals in relation to that.

I look forward to seeing your proposals. Once you have done some sketches, could you make sure to bring them into uni with a UBS-stick so you can scan a few of the best/most important and put them into the blog, (it is free.)

Also, we now have our nice little A4 portfolio folders for all your uni work. I have an extra folder for the group work, so anything that you've done for the group to be submitted (and kept) by Priestmangoode must be given to me to put into the folder.

Hope you get well soon, and let's see some nice sketches now! Remember this is a 40 credit module.
